Yardbird in Washington D.C. played host to CR2C2’s first in-person Networking and Information Exchange event on January 8, 2024. The event was attended by researchers from all consortium member universities from the southeastern region of the country, as well as directors from the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). 

Twelve insightful and engaging posters that delved into the three Major Research Initiatives (MRI): Transportation planning and Policy (MRI 1), Technological Solutions (MRI 2), and Mobility Services (MRI 3) were presented allowing for discussions and valuable feedback from fellow researchers to forward one another’s projects.
