Antwon Foreman is an Aggie alum originally from rural eastern North Carolina. He obtained two bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina A&T. He obtained a degree in innovation & entrepreneurship, and one in marketing. He has also obtained an MBA in Sales Leadership and Sales Management from High Point University. His entrepreneurial journey started as an undergraduate student, where he started his first social business. The business is aimed at increasing the success rate of entrepreneurs and emerging leaders in underserved and underserved communities through entrepreneurial consulting. His business has now served over 2,000 organizations and entrepreneurs across 7 countries. He has worked with organizations as large as Pepsi, H&R Block, USAA, the City of New York, and the State of North Carolina. He has also worked with a plethora of growing and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Currently his work in the private sector focuses on scaling value through entrepreneurial leadership, culture – value alignment, and turnkey operations, specifically from a social capitalism perspective. In addition to his work in the private sector, he has worked with public entities in the areas of economic development, economic engagement, and governmental patent commercialization to impact local communities. He is also the Chairman of the Board for CAREE (Citizens Advocating for Racial Equity and Equality), an organization that has impacted over 70,000 households in North Carolina through health equity, economic development, and community development work over the past five years.

Over the years he has continuously poured back into his university in various ways. This ultimately led to him returning to his alma mater to share his experiences to the next generation. He does this through his positions as an entrepreneurship faculty and the Director of the Blackstone Entrepreneurship Launchpad at North Carolina A&T. He balances his on-campus Launchpad duties with national responsibilities as the Lead Director of HBCU Launchpad Programs for the Blackstone Foundation. His dedication to advancement through entrepreneurship has not gone unnoticed, as he was recently recognized by the Department of Energy for his work in strategic commercialization and innovation programming. He has also conducted innovation and entrepreneurship projects with the Department of Defense; and presented this work at various governmental conferences. His efforts within academia have now impacted 6,500 students across almost 30 universities through event attendance, conference attendance, and development sessions.

Mr. Foreman believes a large part of his purpose is to use entrepreneurial principles to assist in the social mobility and self-actualization of those not born in places where opportunity regularly visits.
